serving pastors

Need a Sunday off? Having been there ourselves, we know what it is like to serve, shepherd, counsel, administrate and give all that you have of yourself, night and day, 24/7 to your congregation. Pastoring is often a calling that means you are "on-call" and available pretty much 100% of the time.

We also know how invaluable it has been to us over the years to have opportunities to "get away from it all", even if just for a few days. Often, especially in smaller congregations, it is very difficult for a pastor to take a Sunday off and have time away with his family or even just to have some quiet-time himself. It may be an issue of not having someone within the congregation with the capabilities of filling the pulpit or leading worship. It may even be an issue of not being able to afford to bring in a guest speaker.

Our heart is to help provide you the ability to take some time off to refresh, while having peace of mind that things are being well taken care of at the church. We are always sensitive to the worship style of a congregation, so you can rest easy that nothing will intentionally happen that will cause you to come home to a full voice-mailbox of complaints or a list of upset people wanting to "bend your ear." We understand that it can be difficult to find someone you can trust, but we hope for an opportunity to earn that trust and minister to you and your congregation.
